Using Active Directory (or Azure Active Directory, LDAP based user management service) is essential for StealthMail service. These are the only ways for StealthMail to get information about users from your company and provide them with secure Email correspondence.

If you are using Active Directory (not Azure Active Directory) please refer to following Microsoft guide. It will show how to configure sync between Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.

In case of using LDAP based user management service please contact us to discuss the available options for custom configuration of StealthMail.

Case: Azure Active Directory

All internal users which will use StealthMail should be added to Azure Active Directory.

Please note: added users should have existing email addresses within your company domain name or aliases (e.g. All other users can be invited via StealthMail clients.

If you haven’t added users in Azure Active Directory, do the following:

Log in to Azure portal ( Log in to Azure portal ).


Click on Azure Active Directory list item then Users.


In the appeared frame click on New user button.


Fill full name to the field Name and email address to the field User name and press Create button.

Please note: you may add users who have emails within verified domain


After you were redirected to the users list click on the created user.


Scroll down to the Contact Info section and press edit text button.


Set user’s mobile phone number and press Save button.

Please note: Azures phone number field requires a space after the country code
(e.g. +1[space]5555486521).


Repeat these steps to add more users.

Please note: it may take some time before the added users can be used in StealthMail service. Usually it takes no more than 30 minutes.
